Ideal for a variety of motors, the self-jigging
nature of this unit makes it quick and easy to assemble while offering
a rigid platform on which to bolt your chosen outrunner. Note that
although a number of the parts look similar there are subtle differences.

Parts
In the bag you will find:
-
1x Back plate (labeled
Std Mount)
-
1x Mounting plate (with offset slots)
-
4x Stand-off
side pieces
-
4x Gusset pieces (with twin tabs)
-
4x Gusset pieces
(with a single tab)
Assembly
-
For best appearance use a very fine (320 to
400 grit) sandpaper to gently remove the light brown scorch
marks left by the laser cutting process
-
Use the photos above for reference
and assemble the unit dry to establish the correct location
of the parts. Note that the triangular gussets on the motor
mounting plate have only one locating tab.
-
Reassemble using white glue and remove
any excess adhesive that seeps from the joints. Use masking
tape to hold the parts until the glue has set. Do not glue
the mounting plate until the correct stand-off measurement
has been established. When happy, slide the mounting plate
to the desired position on the stand-off and glue it permanently
in place. When set, cut away the projecting unwanted stand-off
piece.
