Answering an increasingly vocal call for a trad’ built sportster, the Balsa Pro-Built Riot takes all the exemplary design cues and flying characteristics of the EPO model and offers them in the form of a beautifully built, highly durable, CNC-cut balsa, ply and film-wrapped airframe. Discerning pilots love the foamie Riot, however traditionalists crave the added longevity offered by the ding-resistant, easy-clean (and visually bold) film-covered surface of a balsa-built aircraft. And the Pro-Built Riot is just that.

In a package that leaves little to chance, the kit comes with a full hardware pack that includes all the fittings and accessories required, not least the engine / motor mounts necessary for both the i.c. or electric power options.

We only recommend the JXF high performance wooden props for aerobatic models as they are lighter than APC electric props and therefore put less gyroscopic loads on the motor which means less wear on the bearings. As they are lighter they also spool up and slow down quicker which is also an advantage. They are also quieter and more efficient than APC Electric props and come pre balanced.
